Making a felted Yule Goddess

A hanging figure for your tree or indoor wreath – make her in good company and take away on the day

This is a workshop to learn how to make a hanging felted Goddess figure (about 8″ tall) to hang on a tree or indoor wreath for Yuletide, or your home altar at any time.

All materials and tools will be provided and by the end of the afternoon you will be going home with a unique figure hand-made entirely by yourself!

You will learn basic needle felting, how to work with a figure to add 3D additions such as spirals, hair and body parts, how to understand and choose materials. You will go away with a better understanding of how to get started on more felting at home – tools, materials, sources and techniques.

There will be plenty of time to work together in a small group (max six) and to receive direct hands-on teaching. There will also be tea/coffee/cold drinks and mince pies provided in a lovely, intimate setting in rural East Yorkshire.
