The ancient and magical art of wreath making is woven throughout human history and has symbolised different aspects of our spiritual connection between ourselves, the land and the gods in all their various and glorious forms.

The sacred circle is the enduring base of the wreath. An ancient and eternal symbol of endings and beginnings. Of birth, death and renewal. For some a symbol of protection, for others it is one of hope and a promise of good things to come. A reminder of the returning light.
It’s a huge honour for me to guide people through this creative and magical process here in my workshop. People new to wreath-making enter the workshop often feeling very nervous/doubtful about their creative abilities and, without exception have left with something that has amazed and delighted them. Each time this happens a little light of creative hope and possibility has been lit (or rekindled) within the maker which, after all is the magic of the wreath!
